Going the distance ...

OUTBOUND 52 VOYAGER

Raised saloon for live aboard comfort

Outbound’s pedigree of quality, comfort, and speed lay the foundation for its newest success. The Voyager offers owners a refreshing take on a true raised salon. Still sleek and good looking, the Voyager embraces the challenge presented by the desired 360 degree view in the salon. The balance of excellent sight lines from the twin helms and comfortable inside living, while still being a fantastic sailing yacht, is perfected in the Kernan designed Voyager.

Goals have been met and barriers have been removed. The Outbound Voyager features a large salon and galley that allow owners to enjoy unobstructed views. With three large cabins, the interior arrangements can accommodate a family, or a couple that wants to have an office space aboard. The Voyager can also be built with the sought after interior steering and navigation station. Imagine being dry and comfortable on a rainy day or staying cool when the weather is too hot and still piloting with ease. The Voyager will always keep sailors comfortable and not just for the sake of tranquil living; a well-rested crew will perform better and be safer on passages.

Innovation

Years of consideration, study, and listening to owners have gone into the development of the Outbound Voyager. This vessel needed to carry on the attributes that make every Outbound what it is, while offering a fresh take on the raised salon pilothouse that has been desired by many modern, live-aboard sailors. Why buy a catamaran when you can still go sailing aboard a Voyager? The views, the cabin layout, and the cockpit blend perfectly together, allowing the Voyager to bridge the gap between comfort and desirable sailing qualities.

Quality & Performance

The build quality, performance, and safety that Outbound Yachts is known and respected for will continue to shine on the Voyager, while her innovations push the boundaries of what is expected in a cruising sailboat.

Cockpit

While her 521 sister enjoys the benefits of a center cockpit, the Voyager has a perfectly proportioned, twin helm, aft cockpit. The cockpit is both safe and comfortable, trademarks of every Outbound. Moving from the cockpit to the side decks is nearly as easy as walking forward into the salon. Every winch and line are placed within reach to make sailing the Voyager a pleasure, whether completing a long offshore passage or simply going for a daysail with guests. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, the views from either helm on any point of sail are clear of any obstructions. The Voyager gives owners everything they want in a modern sailing yacht.

Interior Options

Multiple and diverse interior arrangements offer sailors panoramic views, two or three cabins, an up or down galley, and the desired Outbound workroom. The option to have an interior station to pilot the Voyager allows her owners to be comfortable on watches in even the most unwelcome weather. The diversity of this design gives offshore sailors the safety and comfort expected of Outbound while appealing to those who yearn for views offered by much larger yachts.
