BLUEWATER 56
Classic ocean cruising design
The Bluewater 56 incorporates traditional features in a very well thought out and comfortable sailing yacht for long offshore passage-making. Offering excellent engineering and build quality.
The German Frers designed 56 high standard specification sets this offshore cruising yacht apart from most others in the market. It includes a monolithic Twaron/carbon hull, laid up with alternate layers of fibreglass, all using vinylester resins. Theres a collision bulkhead forward of the main cabin, plus watertight stern compartments. Further examples of top quality materials that point to a serious passage-making yacht include tinned wiring, solid bronze through hull fittings, three individual bilge pump systems that allow a blocked filter to be bypassed with the flick of a couple of valves.
